COMEDIC CHARACTER WORKSHOP

Sam makes work for small scale touring. Telling stories in new and fun ways and engaging a diverse range of audience. He also trains Actors and Performers, lecturing in Drama Schools, Universities and FE education as well as leading independent workshops.
In comedic characters participants will explore playful approaches to creating comic characters in performance and improvisation. Work will be individual, paired, and group and a supportive environment will help our characters develop. The workshop will be play, fun, relaxed and accessible for all. It is for professionals, amateurs and anyone who is intrigued by the idea of getting on stage!
Sam Gibbs is a London based lecturer and performer, he’s a visiting lecturer at Rose Bruford and has previously taught at the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts, Bird College and the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
